Wahana Coal Port

Project Overview

Engineering, fabrication, and erection of a 1.8 kilometre coal loading conveyor system for the Wahana coal terminal operated by PT Bayan Resources Tbk. The plant delivers 3,500 tonnes per hour of run-of-mine coal from the stockyard along an offshore jetty to the bulk carrier loading point.

Scope of Work

• Detailed engineering of trestle, conveyor gallery and transfer towers
• Fabrication of structural steel, conveyor frames and discharge chutes
• 1.8 km of 1400 mm wide belt conveyor at 3,500 tph capacity
• Multiple converging stockyard reclaim and transfer conveyors
• Offshore jetty conveyor and shiploader feed
• Site erection, commissioning, and handover

Outcome

Continuous high-volume coal export operation, with the loading jetty visible from the air as a single uninterrupted run from yard to ship.
