Drawdown Hoppers (4,000 tph Coal) — Installation

Project Overview

Heavy-lift installation of an orange-painted pedestal base into its open-cut foundation pit, photographed in March 2006. Mobile crawler crane on standby with a workforce guiding the lift, and a precast culvert ring next to the pit for the conduit run-in.

Scope of Work

• Foundation pit preparation
• Pedestal heavy-lift rigging plan
• Anchor bolt setting and grouting
• Tie-in to upstream feed conveyor

Outcome

Pedestal placed plumb and to drawing, with the upper boom and slew assembly able to follow on the same shutdown.
