KPC Tanjung Bara — Coal Terminal Shiploader

Project Overview

Tanjung Bara Coal Terminal (TBCT), operated by PT Kaltim Prima Coal, is the export gateway for one of Indonesia’s largest coal operations. The terminal runs two quadrant-type shiploaders rated at 4,200 t/h each (9,000 t/h combined), serving bulk carriers up to 210,000 DWT. Scope of Work

• Quadrant shiploader maintenance and component overhaul
• Conveyor idler and pulley replacement on the loading boom
• Floating-crane lift planning for boom components
• Coordination with KPC marine and port operations

Outcome

Continuous coal export uptime maintained at one of the world’s largest coal terminals, with planned maintenance executed without disrupting vessel turnaround.
