KPC Tanjung Bara Jetty Conveyor and Shiploaders Capacity Upgrade

Project Overview

View along the curved jetty conveyor system at the KPC Tanjung Bara Coal Terminal during a 2010 ship-loading campaign, with a Panamax-class bulk carrier alongside. Behind the curved gallery sit the two quadrant shiploaders that load coal at up to 4,200 tonnes per hour each.

Scope of Work

• Curved jetty conveyor maintenance
• Idler and chute upgrades along the loading gallery
• Marine-side coordination during vessel turnaround
• Spare-part supply for the loading boom assemblies

Outcome

Reliable shore-to-ship coal flow maintained across the 9,000 tonnes-per-hour combined capacity of the two loaders.
