Trussed Conveyor Erection (2006)

Project Overview

Black-painted carry idlers being installed along a green trussed conveyor gallery during commissioning in April 2006. The walkway and grating decks are complete on both sides, and a rigger on the gallery is fine-tuning the idler position.

Scope of Work

• Trussed gallery erection on bent supports
• Walkway and grating fit-out
• Mass-installation of carry idler sets
• Belt threading and tensioning

Outcome

New flight commissioned and ready for first material run within the planned site programme.
