Project Overview

Long offshore trestle-mounted conveyor extending from the shoreline stockyard out to the deep-water loading point, allowing self-propelled coal barges to load alongside under tug assistance.

Scope of Work

• Steel trestle bents driven into the seabed
• Continuous trussed conveyor gallery along the trestle
• Belt and idler installation over kilometre-scale distance
• Lighting, walkways, and emergency stop systems
• Discharge chute and shiploader connection

Outcome

Coal vessels can be loaded directly from shore-side stockpiles without the need for transhipment, reducing demurrage and handling costs.
